The mission of the American Pops Orchestra is to present innovative orchestral programming, featuring groundbreaking concepts and artistic partnerships to develop and inspire a new audience for the 21st century.

Founded in 2015 by Maestro Luke Frazier with the aim of breathing new life into orchestral pops programming and inspiring new audiences to discover the wealth of material in the Great American Songbook in dynamic ways, the American Pops continue to cultivate musical, artistic, and educational partnerships and aim to reach diverse audiences in the greater Washington DC metro area.  The American Pops Orchestra is a 501 (c)(3) organization.
